About 102.1 The River

102.1 The River is KMRV LP Radio in St. Charles.  The LP means "Low Power" which means we have just enough to cover our local area at the heart of St. Charles County and into parts of North and West St. Louis County.  We are a non profit commercial free radio station owned and operated by Community Broadcasting of St. Charles County, we are supported by listeners like you and underwriting from businesses, churches, and organizations.

 

  We are here to Educate, Entertain, Inform and Enlighten St. Charles County with fun and family friendly programming for everyone in the county featuring all your Adult Album Alternative favorites and specialty music shows in the evenings and weekends, as well as teaching from a Christian perspective in the early mornings from best selling authors and teachers like Rick Warren and Joyce Meyer, and other Christian ministry and music programs on Sunday mornings. We are the ONLY daily local news source in St Charles County!  News and Sports Reports at the top of the hour Monday-Friday, 6am-6pm.

The map below shows where you can best hear KMRV.  Within the blue circle it should be audible on any radio in your home, office, or vehicle.  In the orange circle, recepton should be good on any car radio, within the red circle, some interference may be received unelss you have a vey good car radio, or an indoor radio with an outdoor antenna.​
