BOWLING GREEN, MO — A familiar holiday tradition is returning to one of Pike County’s historic landmarks, and this year, a few new characters are moving into Honey Shuck.

The Champ Clark House will welcome visitors for its Festival of the Trees during Christmas in the Green, scheduled for November 19–21, 2026. The seasonal event brings Christmas decorations and holiday festivities to the historic Bowling Green home.

New this year is a puppet show for children called “The Mice of Honey Shuck.” Organizers say performance times have not yet been announced, with more information to come as the festivities draw closer.

Families who cannot make the November celebration will have another opportunity. Honey Shuck is also scheduled to open Saturday, December 12, when the puppet show will return.

The Champ Clark House – Honeyshuck encourages visitors to watch its Facebook page for the puppet show schedule and further details about the holiday events.
