After a year running WBBA and building Rivernewslive working non stop the last year building our operation, I need to recharge my batteries. LOUISIANA CITY HALL LICENSE OFFICE CLOSED UNTIL FRIDAY
LOUISIANA — The license office located inside Louisiana City Hall is temporarily closed due to what city officials describe as an unexpected emergency. In a notice issued by the Office of the City Administrator, residents were informed that the license office at City Hall will remain closed until Friday, March 6, 2026 . PITTSFIELD GOLF CART CLUB ANNOUNCES EASTER PARADE AND SCAVENGER HUNT
PITTSFIELD — The Pittsfield Golf Cart Club is preparing for its annual Easter celebration later this month, featuring a community parade and a citywide scavenger hunt with bicycles awarded to winners. BOWLING GREEN — A Bowling Green family is receiving community support after a house fire early Tuesday morning left a mother and her three sons without a home or personal belongings. IDOT ROADKILL DISPOSAL COMPLAINT RAISED IN GREENE COUNTY
GREENE COUNTY — An Illinois Department of Transportation road maintenance practice is drawing scrutiny after a Greene County resident says he witnessed deer carcasses being dumped from a bridge near Apple Creek. Robert Schollmeier of rural Greene County says he photographed IDOT trucks on the Belltown Bridge in the Apple Creek bottoms on February 20 appearing to dump deer carcasses over the side of the bridge. BOWLING GREEN — The North East Community Action Corporation (NECAC) is asking residents across its 12-county service region to help identify community needs and recommend improvements to programs that assist low-income and disadvantaged residents.
