PIKE COUNTY, MISSOURI FAIR OPENS TODAY IN BOWLING GREEN

BOWLING GREEN, Mo. — The 2026 Pike County, Missouri Fair opens today at the Pike County Fairgrounds in Bowling Green, beginning five days of livestock competition, carnival rides, motorsports and family entertainment.

Tuesday is Kids Night, with children age 12 and younger admitted free. Opening-day activities include the poultry show at 9 a.m., goat and sheep shows beginning at 5 p.m., the Little Mr. and Miss Pike County contest at 6 p.m., motocross dirt bike racing at 7 p.m. and a rodeo at 8 p.m. Carnival rides will operate from 6 to 11 p.m., with unlimited rides included in the price of admission.

The fair will continue through Saturday, August 1, with livestock shows, 4-H exhibits, commercial vendors, a petting zoo and live local music scheduled throughout the week. Wednesday’s lineup includes motocross quad racing and a truck pull, while Thursday features a truck and tractor pull.

Friday night will bring the Power Wheels competition, demolition derby and Pike County 4-H and FFA Sale. Saturday’s closing schedule includes pet and animal shows, horseshoe and cornhole tournaments, a pedal tractor pull and the fair’s new side-by-side races at 7:30 p.m.

The Pike County Fairgrounds are located along Highway 54 in Bowling Green. The fair runs from Tuesday, July 28, through Saturday, August 1.
