PITTSFIELD FALL FESTIVAL RETURNS THIS WEEKEND WITH PARADE, PAGEANTS, RIDES AND MORE

PITTSFIELD — One of Pike County’s biggest end-of-summer traditions returns this week as the Pittsfield Fall Festival takes over downtown Pittsfield for Labor Day weekend.

The 2026 festival is scheduled for Thursday, September 3 through Sunday, September 6 around the historic Pike County Courthouse square. Organizers and event listings say the celebration will feature vendors, pageants, carnival attractions, Lions Kiddie Rides, live entertainment and other family activities.

Saturday is expected to be one of the busiest days of the festival, highlighted by the annual Pittsfield Fall Festival parade stepping off at 11 a.m. The parade has traditionally drawn a large lineup of floats, emergency vehicles, businesses, organizations and community groups through downtown Pittsfield.

The Fall Festival has long served as a Labor Day weekend gathering place for residents throughout Pike County, bringing crowds to the square for food, entertainment and community events. A Sunday morning church service on the courthouse lawn is also planned as the weekend winds down.

The Pittsfield Fall Festival gets underway Thursday in downtown Pittsfield and continues through the Labor Day weekend.
