Sonya B. Benson, 55, of Barry, passed away Sunday, October 11. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Niebur Funeral Home in Pittsfield is handling arrangements.

Henry “Hank” William Bottema, 88, of Summer Hill, passed away October 4. Visitation will be held Thursday, October 15, from 4 until 6 p.m. at Niebur Funeral Home in Pittsfield. Private interment will take place at a later date.

Eugene Walter Boyer passed away October 8. Arrangements are being handled by Bibb-Veach Funeral Homes in Bowling Green. Service information has not yet been confirmed.

Steven Lynn Cawthon Senior, 73, of Pittsfield, formerly of Jacksonville, passed away Saturday, October 10. Airsman-Hires Funeral Home in Griggsville is handling arrangements. Service information has not yet been confirmed.

Janet Louise Couch, 71, of Louisiana, passed away Sunday, October 11. Funeral services will be held Thursday, October 15, at 11 a.m. at Collier Funeral Home in Louisiana.

Susanne “Susie” Evans, 76, of Murrayville, passed away Saturday, October 10. A prayer service will be held Monday, October 19, at 4 p.m. at Williamson Funeral Home in Jacksonville, followed by visitation until 7 p.m. A funeral Mass will be celebrated Tuesday, October 20, at 10 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Franklin.

Jane Anne Gast, 98, of Louisiana, passed away October 7. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Collier Funeral Home in Louisiana is handling arrangements.

Joan A. Grable, 78, of Pittsfield, passed away Friday, October 9. Funeral services will be held Friday, October 16, at 1 p.m. at Niebur Funeral Home in Pittsfield, with visitation from noon until 1 p.m.

Patricia Shellene Heberling, 73, of Roodhouse, passed away Monday, October 12. Graveside services will be held Thursday, October 15, at 11 a.m. at White Hall Cemetery. Airsman-Hires Funeral Home in White Hall is assisting the family.

Misty Lynn Pollard, 48, of Greenfield, passed away Saturday, October 10. Visitation will be held Saturday, October 24, from 10 a.m. until noon at Daws Family Funeral Home in Roodhouse, followed by a memorial service at noon.

James Dale “Jim” Presswood, 73, of Elsberry, passed away October 8. Visitation will be held Friday, October 16, from 4 until 8 p.m. at Carter-Ricks Funeral Home in Elsberry. Additional visitation will be held Saturday, October 17, from 9 until 11 a.m. at Millcreek Baptist Church near Silex, followed by memorial services at 11 a.m.

Wanda Marilyn Gamble, 72, of Silex, passed away September 22. A celebration of life will be held Saturday, October 17, at 10:30 a.m. at Silex Assembly of God Church.
