LOUISIANA, MISSOURI — The Buffalo Township United Fund is inviting the community to a night of comedy and fundraising later this month with “Louisiana Laughs,” a special comedy night set for Friday, February 28, 2026, in Louisiana, Missouri.
The event will feature veteran stand-up comedian Willie Farrell, a Midwest-based performer with more than three decades of experience entertaining audiences across the country. Farrell is known for his fast-paced delivery, strong crowd interaction, and relatable storytelling, drawing on everyday life, family experiences, and observational humor that connects well with community audiences. He has performed in comedy clubs, theaters, and casino showrooms throughout the Midwest and beyond.
Louisiana Laughs will be held at the American Legion, located at 420 Kelly Lane. Doors open at 7:00 p.m., with the comedy show beginning at 8:00 p.m. Tickets are $35 and include one free drink ticket. The bar will be cash only, and a 50/50 drawing will also be held during the evening.
Tickets are available in advance at Louisiana Auto Sales LLC, People’s Bank & Trust, and Hannibal National Bank’s Louisiana offices. Organizers say the event is designed as a fun date night or gift idea while supporting local causes.
Proceeds from Louisiana Laughs will benefit 12 local agencies, including the C.H.A.R.T. Teen Task Force, Louisiana Recreational Association, Community Outreach Initiative, and the Raintree Arts Council, helping support a wide range of programs serving the Louisiana, Missouri community.
