I-CASH EVENT COMING TO ROODHOUSE CITY HALL WEDNESDAY

ROODHOUSE, IL — Area residents will have an opportunity Wednesday to find out whether the State of Illinois is holding unclaimed money or other property in their name during an I-Cash event at Roodhouse City Hall.
Illinois State Treasurer Michael W. Frerichs is encouraging residents to attend the event, which will be held Wednesday, October 7, from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. at Roodhouse City Hall, 137 W. Palm Street.
The Illinois State Treasurer’s Office operates the I-Cash program, which connects people with unclaimed cash and other assets being held by the state. Residents can use the event to check for property that may belong to them and get information about the process for claiming it.
The event is open to area residents and provides an in-person opportunity to search the state’s unclaimed-property records and learn more about I-Cash.
