MACOMB MAN CONVICTED OF SEXUAL ABUSE INVOLVING TWO MINORS
MACOMB, IL — A McDonough County jury has convicted a 62-year-old Macomb man on three counts of aggravated criminal sexual abuse in a case involving two minors.
James Wade was found guilty Thursday, October 8, following a two-day jury trial. Prosecutors said the charges stemmed from sexual abuse of two minors earlier this year.
Both minors testified before the jury during the trial, according to information released by the McDonough County State's Attorney's Office and reported by WGEM.
Wade faces three to seven years in the Illinois Department of Corrections on each count. He will also be required to register as a sex offender for life.
