Fern Christina Schlieper, 96, of Auburn, formerly of Nebo, passed away February 17. She is survived by her daughters Christina Albers and Carolyn Long, and other family members. A graveside service will be held Tuesday at 11 a.m. at Hillcrest Cemetery in Calhoun County. Niebur Funeral Home in Pittsfield is handling arrangements.

Bobette VanAlstine, 65, of Florence, passed away February 17 at St. John’s Hospital in Springfield. She is survived by her daughter Adelynne Jones, and other family members. Cremation rites have been accorded and a Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Niebur Funeral Home in Pittsfield is handling arrangements.

Paul E. Wallis, 75, of Roodhouse, passed away February 16. He is survived by his wife Patricia Wallis, his daughters Terri Wallis and Carrie Lemerand, and other family members. A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday at 12 noon at Gentle Shepherd Fellowship in White Hall.

Betty Lou Will, 85, of Bowling Green, formerly of Louisiana, passed away February 13 at Mercy Hospital in St. Louis. She is survived by her children Bill Suddarth, Cynthia Greenwood, Gail Suddarth, and Justine Suddarth, and other family members. Cremation rites have been accorded and a Celebration of Life will be scheduled at a later date. Collier Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
