WINCHESTER — Agronomist Brad Hobrock will be the guest speaker at the next meeting of the Scott County Local Conservation Workgroup.
The meeting is scheduled for 8 a.m. Wednesday at the University of Illinois Extension Building, 401 North Walnut Street in Winchester, according to Scott County Soil and Water Conservation District Resource Conservationist Lance Mueller.
Hobrock is the founder of VisionX Ag, a company focused on improving soil health and plant nutrition while helping farmers make more informed decisions about crop management investments.
Organizers say Hobrock will share insights from his in-field experience and knowledge of crop nutrition and plant health during the meeting.
Breakfast pizza and refreshments will be provided, and organizers are asking those planning to attend to make reservations to help with an accurate head count.
Participants are also asked to complete the workgroup’s informational survey before the meeting.
