BOWLING GREEN — Bowling Green High School is recognizing Career and Technical Education Month by highlighting the wide range of opportunities available to students through its CTE programs.

School officials say Career and Technical Education provides hands-on learning experiences that prepare students for both college and the workforce. Programs at BGHS focus on developing practical skills while also strengthening communication, teamwork, and problem-solving abilities that are essential in today’s job market.

Students involved in organizations such as FBLA, DECA, FCCLA and FFA gain real-world experience through leadership development, competitions and career-focused projects. These programs help students build industry-specific knowledge while exploring potential career paths.

Administrators say CTE empowers students to become career-ready and future-ready, equipping them with the tools needed for success beyond high school. Faculty members and students are being recognized this month for their dedication and commitment to excellence in Career and Technical Education.
