BOWLING GREEN — A Bowling Green woman was injured Sunday afternoon in a one-vehicle crash in Pike County, Missouri.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the crash happened at 12:20 p.m. Sunday on Route NN, south of Pike County Road 277.

According to the patrol report, 34-year-old Hallie Dodson of Bowling Green was driving a 2008 GMC Sierra northbound when the vehicle failed to negotiate a curve.

Troopers say the right tires traveled off the right side of the roadway. Dodson then overcorrected, crossed the road, traveled partly off the left side, and overcorrected again before the vehicle rotated and overturned onto the driver’s side.

Dodson was listed with moderate injuries and was taken by Ralls County Ambulance District to SSM Health St. Joseph Hospital in Lake Saint Louis.

The patrol report says Dodson was not wearing a safety device at the time of the crash.

The GMC had extensive damage and was towed from the scene by Jones Wrecker.

The crash was investigated by Master Sergeant A.J. Mayer of the Missouri State Highway Patrol.
