CLARKSVILLE — After two years away, the Clarksville Missouri State Chili Cook-Off is returning this summer.

The Raintree Arts Council says the annual ICS Chili Cook-Off will be held Saturday, June 13, bringing a full day of chili, food, entertainment, and community activity back to Clarksville. The event is being promoted as the 2026 Clarksville Missouri State Chili Cook-Off.

Chili cooks are encouraged to start preparing their recipes now. According to the event information, all cooks must register through the International Chili Society website to make sure their ICS status is current and that each contestant is eligible to compete and receive awards. Cooks will also need to attend a cook meeting at 8 a.m. on cook-off day.

The event will also feature live music, with Cornet Chop Suey scheduled to take the stage at 1 p.m.

Organizers are also seeking community sponsors for the cook-off. Anyone interested in sponsorship opportunities or looking for more information can contact Linda Blakey at 573-754-0335.

The Raintree Arts Council serves Pike and Lincoln Counties and is located at The Apple Shed in Clarksville.
