LOUISIANA — Residents who want to change their Dayne’s Waste Disposal trash service level for the upcoming August 1 service cycle must submit a signed form to the Louisiana Water Department by June 30.

The city is reminding customers that trash service changes may be made only twice each year, with changes taking effect on February 1 or August 1. Residents who are satisfied with their current trash service do not need to take any action.

The city’s trash service form lists several weekly pickup options. T1 service provides curbside pickup using a customer-purchased approved 95-gallon cart for $16.09 per month. T2 provides curbside pickup with one rented toter for $18.41 per month.

Residents may also select T3 carry-out or tub service for $40.65 per month, which does not include a toter. Under that option, customers are limited to eight 13-gallon bags, or the equivalent of one 95-gallon container, per week.

Additional rented-toter options include T5 service with two toters for $36.83 per month and T4 service with three toters for $55.23 per month.

The service form also states that customers may place one large or bulky item at the curb each week at no additional charge. Arrangements may be made directly with Dayne’s Waste Disposal for additional bulky items for a fee.

Residents seeking an August 1 service change must complete and return the signed form to the Water Department by June 30 so the requested change can be processed.
