MISSING WOMAN SEARCH UNDERWAY IN BROWN COUNTY

BROWN COUNTY, Ill. — Authorities are actively searching for a woman reported missing on Easter Sunday and believed to be in danger.


The Brown County Sheriff’s Office says 40-year-old Rachael E. Sampson was last seen around 6 p.m. on April 5 south of Versailles. Deputies say her disappearance is concerning, and they are urging the public to help locate her as quickly as possible.

Sampson is described as 5 feet 2 inches tall, weighing approximately 175 pounds, with brown hair and blue eyes. At the time she was last seen, she was wearing a red and white dress with blue sandals.


Officials say she may be driving a 2003 Chevrolet Blazer with Illinois license plate E25 0121. Law enforcement believes she could be in danger and is asking anyone with information to come forward immediately.
