PITTSFIELD — The City of Pittsfield is asking local landlords and property owners to help update the city’s rental property list, an effort aimed at improving access to housing information for residents, newcomers, and those considering a move to the community.
City officials say the rental list is designed to provide accurate, up-to-date contact information for rental properties located within Pittsfield. Property owners are encouraged to participate even if their units are not currently available, as the list is intended to reflect the full scope of rental housing options throughout the city.
Officials say maintaining a complete and current list helps streamline the search process for people looking for housing while also supporting long-term planning and community development efforts. The updated list is used as a resource for residents, prospective tenants, and others seeking rental information in Pittsfield.
Landlords and property owners can submit their contact information directly by commenting on the city’s post or by emailing bemerick@pittsfieldil.org. City officials thanked participants for their cooperation and emphasized that the effort helps support Pittsfield’s goal of remaining a welcoming place to live.
