PITTSFIELD — The Pike County Child Care Task Force is inviting additional community partners to participate in its upcoming Provider Palooza event scheduled for March 10, as organizers work to strengthen support systems for local child care providers.

Organizers say about 10 organizations have already committed to hosting resource tables, and they are hoping to add one or two more partners whose work supports young children, families, and the early childhood workforce in Pike County Illinois.

Confirmed partners include Early Intervention programs offering screenings and support services, NAMI providing mental health resources, West Central Child Care Connection assisting with licensing and program support, John Wood Community College promoting education pathways, and Two Rivers Regional Council offering workforce development support.

The task force is seeking organizations connected to early childhood services, family support, workforce development, health, safety, or other community resources. Space is limited, and final selections will be based on how closely an organization’s mission aligns with the purpose of the event.

Organizations interested in participating are encouraged to send a message or email pikecountychildcare@gmail.com with a brief description of their services and what they would offer at a table.
