BOWLING GREEN — Organizers are still looking for volunteers, food vendors, and craft vendors for Bowling Green Park Day, scheduled for Saturday, April 18.

Several activities are already planned for the event, including bounce houses, a foam party, a bubble bus, and the return of a classic game known as “Money in the Straw,” a favorite remembered by many from Pork Days celebrations in years past.

Event organizers say they are hoping for a large turnout and are seeking volunteers to help run inflatables, assist with games, and support other activities throughout the day. Students looking to add volunteer experience to college applications are also encouraged to participate.

Food vendors are also needed to provide food and beverages during the event.

Vendors will be required to have either a Bowling Green city business license or a peddler’s license.

Anyone interested in volunteering or becoming a vendor can contact Kayli at 573-253-9445 for more information. Questions about vendor licensing can also be directed to the city at 573-324-5451.

Organizers say the goal is to create a fun event for residents of all ages and are encouraging community members to get involved.
